Sow in a seedbed: about 5mm deep in well-prepared soil enriched with compost or mature manure, either in a greenhouse or indoors near a bright window. Maintain a temperature between 16°C and 20°C. Transplant into individual pots when the plants have at least 2 true leaves. Harden them off before planting outside. Plant outdoors: when all risk of frost has passed, spacing plants about 50cm apart in full sun.
